Eileen is an award-winning communications strategist, author, and policy leader with decades of experience in federal, state, and local government and in corporate leadership. She has spent her career solving complex problems and bringing people together to get results—from helping small businesses compete globally to improving healthcare for our Veterans.
Eileen will bring her results driven approach to tackle our toughest challenges–rising costs, school crowding, and the pressure of long commutes and limited housing options.

Eileen is a two-time American University graduate with a MBA from the Kogod School of Business and a BA from the School of International Service, with additional studies at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Eileen is an active Alexandria Democratic Committee member, co-created Rock the Blue, an ADC event energizing Democratic supporters and has hosted numerous fundraisers at her home. Bilingual in Spanish, Eileen connects with Alexandria's diverse community.
